Please Hold- In Development
Another original comedy series set in the West Midlands following the trials and tribulations of The Job Centre introduced in Friends and Benefits.
Welcome back to the bustling chaos of The Job Centre, where unemployment meets absurdity.
We follow the antics and adventures of a motley crew of employees and job seekers as they navigate the labyrinth of attempting to find work whilst maintaining their sanity during the pandemic.
We pick up with Clark (the Work Coach), Trina (the Receptionist), Eden (the Intern) and meet new colourful characters along the way like Riley, the perpetually optimistic but hopelessly inept job advisors, whose harebrained schemes often land them in hot water, and Sheila, the retiree who keeps popping back to the office for the coffee and the company.
Enter our delightful array of job seekers like Barry, the wannabe rock star who’s convinced he’ll make it any day now (despite his inability to play any musical instruments) and Tabitha, the conspiracy theorist who believes the news focusing on the lack of toilet paper means the government is hiding something…
So grab a socially-distanced seat, hold on to your CV, pick up your phone and… Please Hold!
